Where is the who the hell cares other then PvE people? Where is that? Oh wait....
PvP > PvE. PvE is a mundane, repetitive, lack luster addition to this PVP GAME. It is good for killing time and making a few extra titles here and there. Otherwise, it has no reward.

I think this update was reasonable. No longer speed boosts of eles dominate so much on flagrunning (note that Windborne Speed and Armor of Mist are still 33%) and slapping permanent 33% of Pious Haste to standard character bars is no longer automatic.

Pleasing the majority is bad for the game when the majority don't understand it.

Never heard of World PvP: "Victories in World PvP will confer benefits to the world that earns them; "Bonuses, advantages, maybe everyone gets increased energy regeneration or healing rate or enhanced loot drop rate.""

GvG is one of the places were balance actually matters. PvE is not affected by most skill balances - and farming is never a good reason for a skill to be kept. If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

I change what I said before, these are reasons why farmers should not be allowed to have a voice in skill balances, or anything for that matter.

Was referring to PvP players that are good at it. Most bad PvP players eventually run off and cry to Big Momma (aka PvE) If your not good at PvP, come let us farm you for pts or leave. PvE is just a side thing to do when not enough people are on, or you feel like just doing something mind numbing.

Since they are messing with it, maybe they can change Death Pact Signet's condition to 60 seconds or even 45. 2 minutes has always seemed a bit long to me.

The Majority will buy GW2 regardless, cause their' nearly mindless. But if A-net can do a decent job cleaning the PvP in this game like they should from the start, it could attract PvPers from GW is atleast look into GW2. Because right now most PvPers believe GW2 will take the whole bending over backwards for PvEr even higher than GW has.

Meh, I'm just not good because I have no real experience in it, other than the occasional RA. I'm sure if I found a good PvP guild and put some effort into it, I could be at least average. I just don't see that happening anytime this decade. PvE is relaxing, and can even be challenging if I want it to be. Besides, mind-numbing is awesome after work/school. I gotta think quickly all day (see: night), it's nice to get away from that with GW. Hell, I still play Tetris from time-to-time.
I think the point is (if there is one, here), both PvE and PvP have their purposes and neither is any better than the other. Though I fully agree that balancing should remain focused on GvG, especially as long as there are tournaments. No one gets "screwed" in PvE because of skill balances. If a particular skill in a particular build gets hit so hard that it no longer works, replace the skill or rework the build. PvE is not rocket science.

When it comes down to it there is no PVE in guild wars. Even the so called PVE is really PVP just a different flavour, killing mobs, making money, grinding titles would make no sense if there wasnt any people online. But there is, which mean youre actually competing against the next guy to get that title, or getting more gold or looking better or having something rarer. Thats PVP. So called PVE in this game is actually PVP too. It like saying in real life a business man doesnt compete only boxers do because they're hitting someone while the business man doenst hit anybody so they're not competing or pvp'ing. Thats not true, even the so called PVE'ers are competing against other PVE'ers which makes it PVP. And the fact of the matter is is more people compete in the game of life(PVE) that doesnt involve fighting than people who compete in an arena(PVP), and this game shows it. Just go to any outpost and count the number of people then go into an arean a count the number of people there. Its obviouse what people are playing. But thats not the point, the point is Anet shouldnt be biased toward one side or other. But as long as they're human they will be biased, so dont get your hopes up for a perfect game, only an unbiased being can make the perfect game, that game is life and that being is God. But dont let that discourage the devs from trying.
